Salary: NJC Grade C: £25,583 - £26,403 FTE (This will be paid pro-rata to reflect hours and weeks worked)

Working Pattern: This is a fixed term position working 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year until 31st August 2026 (Monday - Friday)

We are looking to recruit a dynamic Teaching Assistant to support a range of groups and individual children commencing February 2026.

You will work in a highly supportive team within a positive setting. High levels of initiative and flexibility are essential along with excellent communication skills. You will be supported in the planning and preparation for intervention programmes by the class teacher.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

  • Support learning in the classroom
  • Assist teachers in delivering, engaging and accessible lessons
  • Work 1:1 or with small groups
  • Provide targeted support to pupils who need an extra helping hand
  • Promote positive behaviour
  • Help create a calm, inclusive and productive learning environment
  • Prepare learning resources
  • Assist with organising materials and setting up activities
  • Support around school
  • Supervise pupils during break times, lunch and transitions
